Vermont Energy Education Program empowers individuals to take action for increased sustainability in their communities, economy, and environment through education. They bring highly interactive in-class workshops to grade k-12, allowing students hands-on opportunities to improve critical thinking and science skills. Program areas at Vermont Energy Education Program

In-class workshops: veep brings highly interactive in-class workshops to grade k-12 classes. These workshops have been designed to give students hands-on opportunities to improve their critical thinking and science skills through exercises that help them to understand efficiency and conservation, how renewable Energy systems function, and how they can make better Energy decisions.
Other programs: general programs designed to promote Energy literacy and the use of Energy eficiently.
Teacher professional development and curricula: veep works with teachers to bring Energy and science units aligned with state educational standards to their classes. Veep trains teachers and provides them with ongoing support and the use of all necessary materials in the form of curriculum support kits. Veep offers graduate courses, one day training and workshops.
