The Vermont Highway Safety alliance is a network of like-minded private and public organizations working together to collect, share and use data to develop Highway Safety strategies integrating: road engineering and infrastructure; law enforcement and emergency medical services; and education and outreach. Highway crashes in Vermont were reduced by 25% during 2004-2015, which is the time period of the group working on highway safety. This group then officially became the Vermont Highway Safety Alliance. The organization continued to collect, share and use data to develop Highway Safety.
