*the post honor guard performed 40 military honor funerals with a full detachment with bugle and ceremonial rifles. *donated 37 american flags to various schools and organizations. *donated 2 dozen christmas hams and thanksgiving turkeys. *donated cash or labor and materials to needy Veterans, youth organizations, or other worthy causes. *donated use of its hall to the abbeville and new iberia national guard units for benefits meetings and family events and to other Veterans organizations and families of Veterans for funeral repasts. *loaned acquired medical equipment to injured or disabled Veterans (bed, wheelchair, crutches, walkers, etc). *ceremoninally retired over 1,000 american flags. *charters bsa troop 133 (30 scouts), bsa pack 463 (40 scouts), bsa crew 119 (10 scouts) and sponsor the acadiana division of the us naval sea cadet corps (8 cadets). These charters/sponsorships include providing of resources, leadership, and a meeting place for at least 88 youth. *assisted in 6 patriotic day events. *the amount of people affected by the achievments of this organization cannot be estimated.
