the color guard and honor guard were present at 14 funerals and presented a United States flag to each of the widows. They also participated in 5 parades. the VFW also donates hall rentals to Veterans for free of charge. the hall was donated 30 times.
Educating students about patriotism, flag etiquette, and the proper way to fold an american flag. Two members attended daily one hour for a month.
Assisted the disabled and need war Veterans by volunteering to drive the disabled Veterans van which takes Veterans to their medical appointments each week. A location where all Veterans can socialize with other Veterans, in order to assist with adapting to civilian life. Also, to share their experiences with other Veterans.
