Program areas at Victory Train
Kindergarten readiness--beginning at birth, we deliver weekly packets to the families, including books and educational materials helping parents guide their child onto a successful pathway to high school graduation. The packets follow an education curriculum designed to help parents teach their children essential learning skills needed for school. Packets teach subjects such as health, education, and well-being. They include a skills based cirriculum,teaching children to identify colors,shapes,numbers,letters,and animals,and skills such as counting, writing their name, using scissors and following directions. Victory Train purchases books, crayons,scissors,edducational toys and other items needed to create and prepare our weekly educational packets. We distribute educational packets to over 350 children, including over 235 families, and distribution including over 10,000 packets and 6,800 books in 2023. In 2023 we had more than 408 volunteers carrying out the misson of Victory Train.
