Program areas at VOH

Village of Hope's Bweyale Village Program is a comprehensive initiative aimed at supporting 215 orphaned youth in Bweyale Village. Our program offers a holistic approach to care, providing housing, nutritious meals, and access to quality education at the secondary and vocational levels. We prioritize Christian education, ensuring that spiritual discipleship is integrated into their learning experiences. In addition to education, we offer counseling services to address emotional and psychological needs, empowering the youth to overcome past traumas and develop essential life skills. Our program also includes comprehensive medical care, ensuring their physical well-being is prioritized. We believe in nurturing the whole person. We provide a supportive and nurturing environment where young individuals can grow and thrive, experiencing love, guidance, and mentorship. Our goal is to equip these orphaned youth with the tools and resources necessary for a brighter future, both academically and spiritually.
Our Gulu Ministry Program is a comprehensive initiative dedicated to supporting the most vulnerable orphans and their guardians 7 communities hubs in the Gulu region. Our program extends crucial aid, including food relief and counseling, to 719 vulnerable orphans. We also provide educational support by covering school fees for 60 primary and lower secondary day school orphans. In addition, our program recognizes the importance of higher education and advanced skill development. We are proud to provide tuition for 11 advanced secondary and 60 university/higher education tuitions to orphans who have successfully graduated from our Bweyale campus programs. By investing in their continued education, we aim to empower these individuals with the tools and knowledge they need to thrive in their academic and professional pursuits. Alongside our educational support, we prioritize the emotional well-being of both orphans and their guardians. Through counseling services, we provide a safe and supportive environment for beneficiaries to address any challenges they may face, fostering resilience and personal growth. Furthermore, Village of Hope's Gulu Ministry Program extends its reach beyond individual support. We offer counseling and training to 1000 guardians of orphans, equipping them with the necessary skills and knowledge to provide a nurturing and stable environment for the children under their care. Through these comprehensive interventions, we are committed to creating a sustainable and compassionate community that uplifts vulnerable populations in the Gulu region. Village of Hope is dedicated to empowering orphans and their guardians, ensuring they have access to essential resources and opportunities for a brighter future.
Village of Hope's Bobi Village Program is a comprehensive initiative supporting 345 vulnerable orphans of primary school age. Through this program, these children receive essential provisions such as housing, nutritious meals, quality education, counseling services, medical care, and spiritual guidance. The program aims to provide a holistic support system, ensuring that the orphans have a safe and nurturing environment to grow and thrive.
