Annual vk5k race for vinny'Vinnys's Kids. A 5k walk/run is the major annual fundraiser. The vk5k committee is composed of 22 individuals from the local business community who plan the event. Event day volunteers number approximately 100. Begun in 2008 with 375 participants, the event has continued growth in 2013. To create positive memories for hospitalized and chronically ill children as well as those with disabling conditions by providing appropriate entertainment to enhance and enrich their lives.
