Program areas at Virginia Association of Municipal Wastewater Agencies
The Association comments and litigates on the rule-making process and enforcement policies with the Virginia state water control board and the environmental protection agency affecting the Municipal Wastewater industry in Virginia. In preparation for its commenting and litigating activity, the Association conducts research studies on the water quality in Virginia. During the year, the Association participated in pending technical and regulator advisory committees for clean water initiatives.
