To encourage and protect trade and commerce among Dealers in automobiles, airships, accessories, motor equipped utilities and their allied trades.
Vada produces numerous educational and informational publications, print and digital, for members, the media and the public. The vada dealer directory provides dealership contact information for members as well as key contacts with legislative and regulatory agencies. The new car sales reports are statistical reports which track new vehicle regisrations in Virginia and are provided to Dealers and the media in various formats. Vada also produces newsletters, executive briefs and other issue-specific white papers dealing with legal, regulatory and legislative issues.
The Virginia international auto show is a public event designed to inform the public and media of the latest trends in the Automobile industry including showcasing the latest auto and truck models and some of the new technology. The event is designed to stimulate consumer interest. The show includes displays from the majority of vehicle manufacturers as well as educational exhibits on new technologies like hybrid drive systems and alternative fuel vehicles. The show is the largest event of its kind in the commonwealth of Virginia and the estimated attendance is 50,000.
