Virginia Children's Hospital Alliance

Establish a new organization to lead and direct the planning, design and execution of a Children's Hospital. Work across the community to identify and engage all of the key parties for the planning, design and execution of this Children's Hospital. Meet with key leaders and members of each group to engage their participation and include their feedback in the overall project. Key stakeholder groups include: parents, community pediatricians, local hospitals/health systems, medical school, research center, physicians/scientists/educators, business leaders, community leaders, philanthropists, medical societies, state and local officials. Establish the phases of delivery for the Children's Hospital to facilitate the engagement of staff, consultants and professional resources to provide key services and skills for each phase.
