Marketing & development:in the 2023 fiscal year, the Visit Knoxville website was visited 2,183,751 times, an increase of 12.02% over fiscal year 2022. A total of 91% of the audience visits originated from outside of the city of Knoxville. Unique Visitors increased by 15.06%, pageviews increased by 7.3% and the site averaged 11,452 pageviews per day. Social media channels continue to see increased audience growth and engagement. We continue to track bookings generated by digital ad placement, with over 18,000 bookings generated in fy23.
Sales: the organization hosted approximately 26 site visits representing various associations and organizations from all over the country and performed six (6) scouting trips for possible upcoming sporting events. The sales staff attended 19 trade shows and conducted more than 511 sales appointments/meetings while promoting Knoxville to meeting planners.
