Program areas at Vna Health Foundation
The Vna Health Foundation funds Vna Health charitable programs for the santa barbara community. These programs include pet therapy, music services, the we honor veterans program, and the loan closet, which is the only community resource offering free short-term loans of basic medical equipment. The Vna Health Foundation also funds community education for residents and local healthcare workers through in-services and continuing education workshops. In an effort to empower santa barbara county residents to live with Health and dignity, the Vna Health Foundation provides charitable subsidized care through home Health care, palliative care, hospice care, and in-patient hospice care at serenity house, an 18-bed hospice residential facility owned and operated by Vna Health.
