Vnab is accredited by the joint commission on accreditation of health care organizations (jcaho). The nursing or physical therapy staff perform an initial assessment of each client and develop an individualized care plan. Vnab provides the nursing, therapies (physical, occupational and speech) and social work services directly. There are contractual arrangements with outside agencies to provide additional services such as paraprofessional service, laboratory and durable medical equipment and supplies.home care services are available to clients of any age recovering from an acute illness or injury. Services from vnab is covered by medicare, medicaid, commercial insurance and managed care plans. Vnab also provides services to clients who have no insurance and qualify for charity care.
