Provides managerial and administrative services to its three controlled tax exempt organizations and the Visiting Nurse Association & Hospice Foundation, Inc which includes human resources, benefit administration, finance, intake, medical records, quality control, sales and facilities maintenance.
Provide community clinics for residents to receive annual flu and pneumonia shots, community wellness clinics providing blood pressure/blood sugar monitoring mobile health clinic, health care on wheels, providing non-urgent sick visits as well as school and work physicals in multiple locations throughout Indian River County.
Provide home health care services to private pay patients needing assistance. Service is provided through home health aides, companions and nurse case managers. During the year ended September 30, 2023, unpaid volunteers contributed more than 12,000 hours of their time in direct support of the organization. Volunteers assisted in various program areas. Based upon the hourly volunteer rate of approximately $31.80/hr. In 2023 for the state of Florida per the Bureau of Labor Statistics, the dollar value of those volunteer hours was approximately $390,700. A total of 21,995 hours of volunteer services valued at $699,400 were provided in total to the agency and its related parties. No amounts have been reflected in this return for those donated services.
