Visiting Nurses of Butler County Inc. (dba vna, Western Pennsylvania) works to provide needed health care services in Butler, armstrong, mercer, lawrence, beaver, and allegheny, and westmoreland counties. Vna certified home health specifically offers the following disciplines: registered Nurses, licensed practical Nurses, physical therapists and physical therapist assistants, occupational therapy and certified occupational therapy assistants, medical social workers, and home health aides. The vna of Butler County also provides programs specific to chronic disease management and health related conditions incorporating technology and specialty services in order to reduce rehospitalization and improve patient outcomes. A total of 2,506 patients were admitted into the vna certified home health program and 39,048 visits completed during fy23 ending june 30, 2023.
The Visiting Nurses Association of Butler County, Inc. is the parentorganization to hospice services, Inc. The vna of Butler County, Inc. Provides administrative services and oversight to hospice services, Inc. So that this organization can most effectively and efficiently use its resources to accomplish their stated purpose.
