Program areas at Visitor and International Student Association

We hosted programs that are designed to welcome International students into our community, and provide a home away from home for them. We attended the new Student orientations at the university and also picked up students from the airport who were first arriving in memphis from their country. So, our volunteers were able to be one of the first smiling faces to welcome new International students to the united states! We also hosted several events in american homes(such as International culture night, and special holday celebrations). And we organized an all day city-wide scavenger hunt as a way to get students connected to our community and discover the city.
