Vocel Viewing our Children as Emerging Leaders provides early childhood education and parent coaching to under-resourced communities. Its mission is to help every child learn, grow and lead through two-generation programming. The VOCEL Child Parent Academy is a preschool readiness and parent support program for children aged 0-5 and their caregivers, fostering skills children need to emerge as leaders.

Program areas at Vocel Viewing our Children as Emerging Leaders

The Child Parent Academy is a multi-generational and fully integrated preschool readiness and parent support program for young children (age 0 - 5) and their parents (or caregiver). The VOCEL Child Parent Academy fosters and strengthens skills children will need to succeed inside and outside the classroom. The program is offered in fifteen sites on Chicago's west and south side neighborhoods. The Child Parent Academy is active in 20 sites.
The EETC Fellowship, helps Pre-K and Kindergarten teachers in Chicago Public Schools navigate the return to in-person learning and create action plans to implement key priorities for improvement at their schools, bolstered by a community of support in the fellowship cohort.
Building Early Learning Leaders (BELL) is a program focused on coaching school leaders and helping them to establish their vision for Pre-K learning excellence in their schools.
Powered by VOCEL offers the curriculum of The Child Parent Academy led by Parent Leaders from within the school community. Powered by VOCEL is offered in eight sites.
