Program areas at Voices of Hope for Aphasia
Living! With Aphasia: group programs providing safe, supported opportunities for people with Aphasia to practice speech, develop social network, and engage in activities of interest. In 2022, we returned to many of our in-person programs, providing over 7300 units of service to more than 250 people with Aphasia and their loved ones. In 2022,we added a total of 141 people to voh comprised of 68 people with Aphasia and 73 cargivers/ family members.
Max adventures features outings, chosen by our members or staff, that offer new and and exciting ways for those with Aphasia to get out and explore in a supportive and aphasia-friendly environment. These activities not only provide an opportunity to attend events and enjoy new activites, but also raise awareness of Aphasia in our community. In 2022, we provided 4 max adventures and served over 120 people.
