Program areas at VAC
The transportation program provides rides for senior citizens, persons with disabilities, and the public to and from various location for the purpose of receiving services, medical care, working, participating in activities or attending events to reduce isolation and promote independent living. These services provided over 55,000 rides during the year.
The nutritional program consists of Meals on Wheels, senior luncheons and community dinners. Meals on wheels provides a personal contact to ensure their well being. Over 559 thousand meals served during the fiscal year.
