Volunteer Network OC

Expenses related to maintaining and updating the organization's website and mobile application for volunteers and organizations to use. The mobile application and website are now fully functional, and both are being used to sign up volunteers and organizations. Volunteer Network OC has been approaching organizations and encouraging them to sign up and recruiting volunteers using social media and encouraging them to volunteer for the events posted by organizations. Volunteers and organizations can also share posts, photos, and other information regarding the successful events on Volunteer Network OC's social media platforms to encourage others in the community to volunteer to help the organizations provide services to disadvantaged and vulnerable people in Orange County.

Direct distribution of socks, toddler plates, and Norwex microfiber cloths to needy individuals at events hosted by Volunteer Network OC, Precious Life, Clothing the Homeless, Qoheleth Ministries, and Laura's House. The socks were donated by Bombas and distributed by Volunteer Network OC volunteers. The expenses reported here reflect the estimated value of the items that were distributed.

Wages and reimbursements for Volunteer Network's two paid employees, who are responsible for maintaining the website, preparing and sending out weekly emails with information on upcoming events and news regarding the populations that Volunteer Network OC serves, recruiting organizations and volunteers, creating content for Volunteer Network OC's social media pages, creating and placing advertisements to attract new volunteers and organizations, and communicating with volunteers and organizations and assisting them in signing up for Volunteer Network OC's platform, including troubleshooting issues.
