Vox Femina Los Angeles gives women a voice through the performance of quality choral literature. They are a chorus committed to commissioning new works and raising awareness about issues affecting them. Program areas at Vox Femina Los Angeles

Vox's performing season consists of three subscription concerts, three free community concerts, a cabaret night, the concert for youth, and numerous guest appearances. Since the pandemic, Vox has continued to live stream all of its subscription concerts, reaching an international audience. Vox's concerts are predominantly centered on themes of social justice. During the 2022-2023 season concerts included xand justice for all," featuring familiar protest songs of the 50's and 60's as well as music inspired by more recent movements like the women's march and black lives matter; made in la, which featured new commissions by zanaida robles and saunder choi, exploring identity and belonging in the "city of angels;x and music they wrote, which featured both "suffrage cantata," a commission by andrea ramsey celebrating the centennial of women's suffrage, and "resilient voices," a commission by christina whitten thomas dedicated to women artists in history. Vox also performed at congregation kol ami for their world aids day community observance, with the gay men's chorus of Los Angeles at the alex theater, and at the pasadena playhouse's sondheim celebration.vox services over 1400 middle and high school students from across la county with a multi-tiered music education program, including the concert for youth, the youth choir festival, the choral scholar program, and the justice choir program. Vox offers participating students and their families free tickets to all Vox concerts.
