Program areas at W House
Educational programs and tastings are routinely offered at our corporate office and headquarters in nashville, tn. These events are led by board/committee members and/or leading members of the spirits industries. Donations are required in order to take part in these events. We also routinely auction and/or sell rare and limited bottles of whiskey and wip tasting experiences. These tastings take place at our corporate office and headquarters and are led by board/committee members. Every summer, we host a large barbecue at our corporate office and headquarters. Guests and supporters have the opportunity to purchase pours of rare and limited spirits. We also host several open House and other events throughout the year for the community which result in significant donations. We are home to one of the leading spirits industries museums and libraries in the region. As a result, in exchange for a donation, visitors regularly come to our corporate office and headquarters to tour our collection and conduct research. We regularly meet with other organizations, charities, and local businesses regarding fundraising and related activities. We consult with these groups about how to best raise funds for local and national charities, following our model. This involves meetings, planning, recruiting others to attend/participate, and attending the organization's event to ensure it runs efficiently and ensure maximum funds are raised and collected for the charity. We also donate 2-4 tastings per month to other charitable organizations. We host those tastings at our corporate office and headquarters, and they are led by board/committee members. Each board/committee member donates approximately 20% of their time to W House endeavors. 100% of expenses are allocated to the activities outlined above.
