The mission of Wakefield Crew Boosters is to provide an enriching and rewarding team sport for Wakefield high school's students who are interested in physical and competitive challenges and in developing rowing skills and knowledge as an important part of their overall educational experience at Wakefield high school. Scholarships - the organization gave complete scholarships to 5 students (one of which went on to receive a full rowing scholarship to a university in Florida). 3 of 11 graduating seniors earned substantial rowing scholarships for college.
