Description
Wally’s Friends is a stand alone clinic dedicated to top quality care for your animal. Each animal, cat or dog awakes from surgery wrapped in a cozy fleece blanket. All animals receive individual attention and are on monitors while under anesthesia. All animals receive warm rice bags to maintain body temperature after surgery. All eyes are on the animals the entire time they are at the clinic. In fact, their humble little red brick building has viewing windows and open space throughout so their staff can easily see the animals there at all times.

Program areas at Wally's Friends

During 2018, the organization provided affordable and accessible spay and neuter services to hamilton county and 14 surrounding rural counties. The organization also provided information on the importance of spaying and neutering as a strategic method of prevention to decrease stray populations and therefore the incidence of euthanasia of shelter animals. Approximately 800 animals were spayed and neutered at the clinic during 2018 before its closure to the public.
