Walt Whitman Crew Boosters

Over 130 Walt Whitman High School students participate in the organization's rowing program, typically beginning as novices in the fall and progressing to the varsity team the following year. The organization engages coaches and purchases and maintains racing shells and other necessary equipment. The organization provides training, required entry fees, transportation, food and lodging, as needed, for the team to compete in regattas during the year. The team's rowers have been very successful, winning medals and awards at local, state, regional and national championship levels.
