Program areas at Warren County Community Center Incorporated
The historic Warren County Community Center building provides a museum, meeting space, and cultural Center for residents of Warren County. The Center is currently under renovation. When complete the Center will serve as a depository for artifacts, photos, written and oral histories and other exhibits to showcase the history of Warren County, nc and the contributions of Warren countys people of color. In the current year the Center has provided a meeting space for area residents, and some education enrichment programs for area youth. Approximately 60 residents utilized the Center during 2022.
As fund is a program that encourages area high school youth to excel by providing mentorship, enrichment activities, and rewards for improving academic performance. The as fund has not been active since the beginning of the pandemic. Plan is to start activities again in 2024-25 school year.
