Washington Apple Education Foundation impacts lives through access to education. It provides assistance for college access and offers support beyond the scholarship. Fruit industry scholarships were provided to 332 students raised in tree fruit industry families and communities and to individuals pursuing a career in the tree fruit industry.
Assistance was provided for college access and support provided beyond the scholarship. A new website was created to provide scholarship training to students outside of the classroom, virtual scholarship application training sessions were offered for high school students, and support for high school students and counselors was provided for 45 high schools in various districts. Career development services were also provided to students in these districts.
