Program areas at WIGA

Monthly meetings and annual conference:disseminating information to the Indian Gaming community; promoting government to government relations and effective communication between tribes and the state of Washington; maintaining, protecting, and advocating Indian tribal sovereignty. Preserving and protecting the integrity of Gaming conducted in Indian country; development of sound policies and practices with respect to the conduct of Gaming activities in Indian country.
Scholarships and charitable contributions:promoting, protecting and preserving the general welfare and interests of Indian tribes.
Communication program:disseminating information to federal and state governments, and the general public on issues related to the conduct of Gaming in Indian country.
The Association has a state-candidate pac that makes campaign contributions for state offices, holds a golf tournament that funds a portion of the scholarship program, and managed the normal administrative functions of the organization.
