The Washington Overseas Medical & Dental Mission Fund furnishes free medical/dental services to underprivileged persons in Honduras and other foreign countries. It organizes volunteers, collects medical/dental supplies, and receives donations to pay for such free services. A total of three 40 foot containers including medications, medical and dental supplies, clothing and shoes and other humanitarian items were shipped to Pimeineta, Honduras and distributed to the needing in various areas throughout Pimienta, Honduras and surrounding areas.

Program areas at Washington Overseas Medical and Dental Mission Fund

A total of three 40 foot containers including medications, medical and dental supplies, clothing and shoes and other humanitarian items were shipped to Pimeineta, Honduras and distributed to the needing in various areas throughout Pimienta, Honduras and surrounding villages. Included in these shipments are donations to help support the Pimeientas Womens Center and Sewing School. Medications and medical supplies were distributed to approximately 10 clinics and hospitals. Due to Covid pandemic the organization was unable to perform its annual trip to serve the poor in Honduras. Donations of cash and humantarian aid were sent to Honduras to alleviate the pain and suffering of the people surrounding Pimienta, Honduras. Additionally donations were made to provide Covid relief and support throughout Pimienta, Honduras and the surrounding villages addressing various patient care.
