Rural Collaborative / Washington Rural Health Collaborative

The Collaborative supports 26 hospitals serving Rural communities in Washington. The members are public hospital districts including 24 designated as critical access hospitals (cah). The Collaborative assists Health care professionals and administrative leaders with the development and implementation of performance improvement and compliance projects as well as establishing and managing department specific committees. During 2023, the Collaborative focused on establishing the for profit subsidiary, Rural Health enterprise, and continuing work with payer strategy. The Collaborative has begun work with molina in an administrative simplification project.
