Program areas at Washington State Dairy Women
Dairy princess program: the purpose of the program is to promote milk and milk products and the Dairy industry. The State Dairy princess serves as ambassador to the industry. She travels around the State visiting schools, fairs and civic organizations. She also works with the media. The county princesses work at the local level.
Public relations forum: the forum provides Dairy Women participants with knowledge on nutrition and the promotion of milk and milk products. This knowledge is then used by the Dairy Women in promoting Dairy products in their respective areas.
Product promotions: the State Dairy Women participate in health fairs and mall shows, give food demonstrations in classrooms, malls, civic organizations and sponsor the local (county) Dairy princesses.
