In 2023 Washington Technology Industry Association (wtia) expanded sponsor base from 51 to 59 companies, with 10 new tech sponsors. Wtia also won a $300k extension to its wa commerce grant for ai, blockchain, and quantum computing accelerator programs. In addition, wtia switched its healthcare partner from premera to united, tripling wtia reach in wa and enabling expansion. Wtia successfully spun out the u.s. blockchain Association to the global blockchain business council, strengthening global blockchain collaboration.
