Program areas at Water 4 Mercy
Water well projects - Water 4 Mercy (w4m) continues to partner with innovation: africa, a nonprofit renowned for its transformative impact through israeli innovations, to bring clean Water to underserved communities across africa. As of 2024, Water 4 Mercy has successfully installed solar-powered Water wells in 19 villages, including recent projects in iyoyo, mugu, and mandela. These solar-powered systems are resistant to breakdown, vandalism, and theft, providing sustainable, life-giving Water access for the long term. (continued on schedule o)
Water 4 Mercy (w4m) leverages global partnerships to implement sustainable, innovative solutions in Water, agriculture, and education throughout africa, focusing on self-sufficiency, economic empowerment, and food security. Through collaboration with innovation: africa, cultivaid, and don bosco technical institutes of africa, w4m integrates advanced agricultural technologies, training, and infrastructure into underserved communities. Agricultural projects - in 2019, Water 4 Mercy (w4m) provided initial funding through the israel endowment funds, Inc., a u.s.-based nonprofit, to establish the Water 4 Mercy school of agriculture in partnership with the don bosco technical institute in dodoma, tanzania. This initiative aimed to create a "center of excellence" focusing on teacher training, youth development, job creation, economic empowerment, and agri-business. The program combines technology and knowledge transfer to improve the livelihoods of remote communities and foster sustainable development. (continued on schedule o)
