Program areas at Watershed Center for the Ceramic Arts
Summer residency: Watershed hosts multiple groups of 5-17 artists-in- residence for two to three weeks and provides time, space, chef-prepared meals, and studio support while they explore ideas in their creative practice and create connections with other artists.
Education: Watershed provides affordable skill-building workshops to Maine k-12 art educators, so that they are able to teach those skills to their students
Workshops/firings: Watershed is home to several different types of kilns (woods, gas, raku) which are rented out to local Ceramic artists, many of whom would not have access to atmospheric firings otherwise.
