Program areas at Well Africa-Usa
Funds were used to sponsor an anti-malaria campaign, providing on-site diagnosis from a medical team and education on prevention of the disease. Funds were also used to rehabilitate chicken production facilities and provide housing for locals. This program directly impacted 250 people and indirectly impacted 1,250 people.
Well africa sponsors local social intitiatives to help build the community in abidjan, ivory coast. Funds were used to help renovate an orphanage which houses 50 orphans and provide food, art, & musical workshops. A new solar-powered water system was constructed on a second orphanage in grand bassam and this orphanage building was also completely renovated.
Well africa is building a high school in africa. The school will contain 20 classrooms, a computer lab, library,sporting facility, dormitory for orphans and abandoned children, admnistrative building, and farms. The high school has capacity to sponsor 900 students' education. Well africa also sponsors a primary schools, providing education to 175 students with a 100% success rate during 2021 national exams. Support includes a school facility, tuition, and other school materials.
