West Chester Gun Club and Athletic

Recreational shooting: the Club promotes recreational shooting and supports and maintains four trap fields. For members who do not wish to shoot in formal competitions, the Club arranges practice sessions and weekly competitionscompetitive shooting: the Club is a member of the amateur trap shooting association (ata), a national association dedicated to futhering competitive trap shooting. The Club sponsors and hosts the local ata championship and other ata sanctioned competitions in all disciplines. Members compete, hone their skills, accumulate points for team nominations and compete in state and national championships. The Club also sponsors coaching and clinics in shooting techniques which include formal classroom instruction, mental preparation for competition and actual shooting instruction.
