Meetings/camps/workshops offered by wvfa include the a.b. Brooks symposium, annual conferences, ted harrison camp and wood preservation workshop.
Wv tree farm encourages private forest landowners to manage and protect their woodlands for the continuous production of forest products with with all the added benefits of improved food and habitat for wildlife, watershed protection, and opportunities for outdoor recreation.
These programs educate the community and the membership through educational programs and workshops that promote Forestry safety, educate environmental protection, and enhance quality of West Virginia forests.
Logger's council provides first aid, cpr training and blood-borne pathogens training.
Project learning tree is an educational program designed for grade k-12 teachers.
