Western Pain Society is a multidisciplinary community of passionate healthcare providers dedicated to advancing the standard of care for people through continuing education, advocacy, research, and patient outreach. They strive to heighten the healthcare community's awareness and understanding of pain in order to ensure that it is treated appropriately and with compassion. Additionally, they encourage research and discussion of pain and its causes and treatments to broaden our knowledge and improve patient outcomes.

Program areas at Western Pain Society

Heightening the healthcare community's awareness and understanding of Pain to ensure that it is treated appropriately and with compassion. Encouraging research and discussion of Pain and its causes and treatments to broaden our knowledge and improve patient care. Supporting the american Pain Society's establishment of Pain as a major health problem and developing standards for the prevention and treatment of Pain. Engaging and encouraging people in Pain to help them understand their conditions, get the help they need and achieve an improved quality of life.
