Program areas at Westfield Youth Assistance
We continued to focus our energies on connecting Youth to pro-social enrichment throughout the school year as well as to increase their connection to their peers, community, and to help our Youth find outlets for growth and constructive use of time. We connected 256 Youth to enrichment and camp opportunities.
In order to guide our Youth towards establishing a stronger connection within the community through a positive relationship, 38 Youth were matched with a mentor and 45 students were served by wyap tutors in 2022.
We recognized 17 students who have overcome adversity, demonstrated positive change or made a positive academic turnaround.
The Westfield Youth assitance program served a total of 195 Youth.
