Program areas at What's Next Washington
Partnering for the inclusive workforce project is designed to help employers tap into a labor pool ready to work-people with conviction histories. Developed by those directly impacted, the piwp helps employers recruit , hire, and retain fit ( formerly incarcerated talent) to meet their hiring goals. Access high-quality talent overcome bias and fear through wnw trainings. Improve recruiting, hiring and retention through use of wnw's assessment tools, and develope connections with wrap-around service providers.
Inclusive recovery program : increase hiring of people with conviction histories under dei. Determine goals, committments, staff involved, and understand these questions: which hr team, division, region are we working with? What department will be open for jobs? How many jobs over a two year period? What are those jobs?
Other programs includes employment advisory committee, train the trainer, interview and coaching
