The When We Shine Foundation builds and maintains a network that unites diverse communities through arts education, creativity, and networking. The foundation partners with The World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts to create an anthem for Mid-Valley Elementary School, the only bilingual school in the state of Oregon. They also produce a music video to build confidence and solidarity in the mixed community of local migrant workers and immigrants. The production benefits the community.
