Program areas at Wichita Falls Youth Symphony Orchestra
Produced 3 full concerts featuring our diverse student roster of 73 Youth performers from the local community and surrounding counties. An additional performance included 4 apprentice winners who performed in a Wichita Falls Symphony concert alongside their mentors. The ensemble performed 17 concerts in Wichita Falls and surrounding areas. The total Youth Symphony audience attendance was approximately 3,825.
Conducted a summer Orchestra camp for 24 Youth. They took classes throughout the week focusing on Orchestra performance, private and ensemble instruction, and music theory. The camp concluded with a concert attended by approximately 100.
The gail key academy provided private strings instruction for 58 students attending 4 Wichita Falls schools. They performed 4 concerts with a total audience of approximately 325 in attendance.
