Wild About Cats of Cumberland County is an all-volunteer, nonprofit organization that dedicates itself to humanely reducing the outside cat population in Cumberland County through Trap-Neuter-Return. They place neutered feral cats at feeding stations that also provide care for these animals. In 2021, they had 57 cats in their rescue, which increased to 246 in 2022. These cats were brought in as either rescued stray and feral cats or owner surrendered cats. Out of the total of 303, 110 died either through euthanasia or natural causes.
