Program areas at Willamette International
The grace bible institute started in 2014 and was able to start their 5th cohort in 2023 with 20 students enrolled. The organization was able to continue to send pastors from the us to teach.
Ten children from the grace village orphanage have aged out and are being helped to get higher education if they desire. Two are pursuing a degree in social work and one in nursing. Another is pursuing a certificate in math. Others are studying human resource management and criminology and one has attended some classes at the bible institute. Most of the graduates are still in the area and continue their contact with our staff there. A weekly bible study is held at the home of one of the missionaries. The other 29 kids still at gv are continuing their education under the management of a missionary with a bachelor's degree in education and another missionary is teaching them computer skills.
Lion mountain steel worked on building 4 units for the grace village orphans which will be completed in 2024 as well as putting a new roof on on a local church.
Aquaculture program to provide experience, a protein source and opportunities for sierra leone nationals to self-support, efforts for bible translation, grants for other orphanages and churches in sierra leone, scholarships for continuing education of sierra leone nationals.
