Heroes' bridge - Wny Heroes provided grants to combat veterans and their families for up to 3 months rent, mortgage, utilities; food distribution and holiday meals.
Operation b.o.o.t.s. - brought veterans and their families together in a casual, non-clinical, non-threatening setting in safe, fun environments that foster teamwork, networking, and friendship.
Pawsitive for Heroes - Wny Heroes provided combat veterans with a service dog & training to benefit from medical issues, including ptsd.
Other programs and services - adopt-a-hero's family: to provide food, clothing, and other gifts to veteran families during holiday. Operation automotive: to assist veterans in the community who were not able to afford the inital costs of a vehicle, or the costs of repairing a vehicle they already owned. Little Heroes: to provide children of service persnnel and veterans up to 250 in assistance to participate in extracurricular activities, including summer camp for children who have lost a parent in recent wars. Operation backpack: to provide children of veterans or those still serving with backpacks filled with essential school supplies necessary to be successful in school. William e kramp scholarship: to provide scholarships to the children of veterans or immediate family members of veterans. Scholarships are for up to 1,500 per award.
