This sponsorship is based on improving the lives and providing equal opportunities to female professional Soccer players. The wags foundation sponsored grassroots coaching courses providing a pathway for females to get started in coaching. These courses were made available through advertising to the general public on a first come first serve basis. The foundation also co-sponsored with the Washington spirit professional womens team an iconic Women in Soccer award honoring Women who have contributed to the advancement of Women in the game.
