Program areas at Women in Ranching
Virtual events: we host online events for Women including, but not limited to, confluence, kitchen table chat, etc. The main event, confluence, is our twice a year virtual gathering of Women from a wide geography for practical sessions, inspirational leadership opportunities, storytelling, and music. We feature Women leaders across the food industry to drive inspiration and change amongst Women leaders. This event encompases 5 days and is split between a spring and fall session. We typically have about 150-200 registrants. The goal is to continue to build this program as a virtual offering to the community to connect across a wide region.
Communications: our communications program reaches over 6500 readers on a monthly basis and creates opportunities for Women to tell their stories and share their experiences to a wider audience. This includes a digital newsletter and social media communications with monthly features about our network of Women.
Circles: our circle gatherings are offered in the spring and fall as in-person events on host ranches across the west. We serve about 50 Women at these events which include ranch walks, financial discussions, succession planning and community building activities including equine therapy work.
