Program areas at Women in Technology

In 2023, we empowered careers through resources, workshops, and mentorship programs that equip women and girls with the skills and confidence needed to thrive in technology-related fields. We had almost 2,000 registrations for our WIT Forums and Socials and over 750 attendees at WIT Connect. WIT also expanded our educational outreach, reaching more young women and inspiring them to pursue STEAM education and careers. This included 310 girls in middle and high school, 336 students from 16 different universities in Georgia, and 345 young professionals. 43 women graduated from the Single Mothers Program for cybersecurity and IT fundamentals education. We also drove awareness through our Women of the Year in STEAM Awards. In 2023, we had 140+ incredible nominees, of which 12 winners were recognized at the gala for their achievements.
