The purpose of these grants is as follows: (1) to share the gospel, (2) to train Women in making paper bead jewelry, (3) to support Women starting small businesses, (4) to provide scholarships to children in school and vocational school, (5) to provide training and resources to families farming maize, (6) to provide Women with pigs to raise and sell, (7) to provide food and medical services to the poor, and (8) to provide counseling, trauma recovery programs, and addiction recovery programs. Since the Women of Pader Uganda started providing these grants, the community-based organization in Pader, Uganda has served more than 15,000 members of the community in Pader and helped provide approx. 1,176 jobs in Pader.
