Program areas at Women Winning
Women Winning is the only Minnesota organization solely focused on training, supporting, endorsing and electing pro-choice Women. We continue to provide resources at every phase of a candidate's journey to maximize opportunities to build leadership and community power. We offer all services free-of-charge, breaking down barriers that prevent Women, particularly Women of color, lgbtq+ Women, and Women with disabilities, from engaging in the political process. We continue to recruit and prioritize support for underrepresented voices in the political process. We provide 1:1 expert coaching sessions focused on staff, comms, field, and fundraising. We hosted training sessions for the political leaders of tomorrow program, candidates and their staff. Our 2023 campaign toolkit included resources on: campaign launch, campaign logistics and structures, communications, fundraising, caucus and convention, field and direct voter contact. In the 2023 election cycle, over 80 Women contacted Women Winning about running for office. Women Winning endorsed 44 pro-choice candidates for 2023. Women Winning continues to recruit dozens of pro-choice Women to run for office across the state. In 2023, Women Winning met with 80+ pro-choice Women candidates and their supporters.
